Introduction
Positive 91Five is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all staff, volunteers, guests, and community members. As a Christian organisation, we believe every person is made in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.
Sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination, and any form of intimidating or abusive behaviour are not in line with our values and will not be tolerated in any part of our operations—on-site, on-air, online, or in the community.
This policy outlines our expectations and the steps we will take to prevent and address inappropriate behaviour.

Treating others with courtesy, patience, and respect at all times.
Speaking up if they witness bullying or harassment, and supporting those affected.
Following this policy and any related procedures or training.
Refraining from gossip, personal attacks, or language and behaviour that may harm others.
What to Do If You Experience or Witness Harassment or Bullying
If you feel unsafe, disrespected, or are concerned about the behaviour of someone else, we encourage you to take one or more of the following steps:
Speak Up – If you feel comfortable, let the person know their behaviour is unwelcome and must stop.
Report It – Speak to the Station Manager or another trusted leader within the station.
Write It Down – Keep a record of what happened, including dates, times, and witnesses.
All complaints will be handled confidentially, sensitively, and without victimisation. We will take fair and timely action to resolve the matter, which may include mediation, investigation, or formal disciplinary action depending on the severity of the complaint.
Support and Healing
Positive 91Five recognises that experiences of harassment or bullying can have serious emotional, physical, and spiritual impacts. Where appropriate, we will support individuals by:
Providing access to pastoral care or counselling resources
Offering time and space for recovery or resolution
Creating restorative conversations when safe and appropriate to do so
Conclusion
This policy is grounded in our belief that God calls us to love one another and to treat each other with honour and care. We aim to reflect this in our workplace and in every interaction with our community.
